Bubble wrap does not stangle or cut off the air to the eggs?
What is the rate of hatch success on eggs shipped like this?

Hi Pam!
In a word, NO --- it doesn't.

Not wrapped exactly like Gary's, but 'my way' and suffocated as much or more --- 15 of 15 are growing in their new home.
It doesn't seem an egg needs a great deal of (or any) air exchange before it starts 'growing'.

I agree completely with Lisa. Eggs do not actually "breathe" I'd be more concerned with the possibility of the bubble wrap bubbles breaking and having them poisoned by contaminated Chinese air.

Pictures are added. Check the OP.

Thanks for the pictures! Does this only work if you are sending 40 eggs? What else do you put in if you are mailing less than 40?

I actually always try send at least 20 eggs for my one dozen sales, which is one layer in the box. In these cases I pack a pretty hefty amount of crumpled newspaper on both the top and bottom of the pack. Eggs are pretty tough on their vertical axis. Its the side forces that must be guarded against.
