Packing Peanut turned out to be a ROO....what now?

Would like to keep the roo if possible (not waking up the world, hurting the hens, ext) but if we decided to cook him what age would be best for that?

They will be the most tender around 12-15 weeks, great for fried chicken or barbecue, but will not be full size, more like a small fryer, 2 to 3 pounds. But he will be much older than this before you know whether he will be a mean roo. At that point, the crock pot and chicken soup work well.

BTW, a friend of mine bought his grandkids four dyed Easter chicks, knowing he'd end up with them when the kids tired of them. He has 3 hens!

Some people have all the luck.
