I finally got an MRI done. Been suffering for way too long. It is getting me down. Our tree isn't even decorated yet.
Finding it hard to take care of all the animals. I guess i need to cut back.
I thought the same thing Cap. Some advice here...don't think about cutting back on the livestock until you have healed or feel better.

I said the same thing after my second break. I just didn't want to have to depend on my neighbor taking care of my birds. When in fact, it wouldn't matter if I had 1 or 300, they still have to be taken care of ...it wouldn't take as long with fewer birds but would I still be happy with fewer birds, I don't think I would....I'm just going to change what species I raise now (specialize) I thought I wanted to raise every species of true pheasants and I have almost accomplished it or at least I have half of the 32 species, the rest aren't available in the US. I realize now that I wasn't taking the right approach to conserving the species. It will be better to concentrate on a few species than all of the species. It will take the same amount of care but I will have more time to commit to a few than the insane number I have now.
And if anything happens again, heaven forbid, at least my neighbor won't have to spend as much time as he does now to take care of my birds.

This is very good advice!

I hope you continue on for many years with this project.
