Do you mean ....
is it possible to produce chocolate paints and chocolate paints in one pen? in my mind, it makes sense to have a chocolate paint roo over chocolate paint, black paint, chocolate, black, and dominant white hens BUT i’m not super familiar with the genetics here. what will/will not work?
Chocolate paint rooster X chocolate paint hen = 50% chocolate paints, 25% chocolate, white (chocolate not showing) (both sexes)
Chocolate paint rooster X black paint hen = 50% black paint, 25% black, 25% white cockerels (all carry one chocolate gene)
50% chocolate paints, 25% chocolate, 25% white (chocolate not showing) pullets
Chocolate paint rooster X chocolate hen = 50% chocolate paints, 50% chocolate (both sexes)
Chocolate paint rooster X black hen = 50% black paint, 50% black cockerels (all carry one chocolate gene)
50% chocolate paint, 50% chocolate pullets
Chocolate paint rooster X Dom. white hen = 50% black paint (carrying chocolate) 50% white (carrying chocolate) cockerels
50% chocolate paint, 50% white (chocolate not showing) pullets
I think that covers it and is correct. It's been a long morning so....
