However he did win an "Ugliest Chicken" contest about 6 months ago--tails and wings all ratty, and then there's that red, red face, comb & wattles. I sold him a month or so ago and he now has a sweet little hen all to himself, and no other roos to fight with.

So back to the paint silkies. On another forum there was discussion about these maybe a year ago or so and the person was from Holland. He said they also have buff paint. I have seen 'splash' OEGB just like these at shows before, they are pure white with black spots. Now I wonder with the paint silkies if it is just a couple black feathers clumped together or of the feathers have some black and some white on the same feather.
