Painting Plywwod

Thanks, I'll take a look into it. I've done a bit or research and I see that boat-builders use low viscosity epoxy to seal edges of ply.
If I can track this down...seal the edges of the cuts and the openings for to pop hole and nesting box...then I should be able to paint with a good quality exterior paint I presume.

Thanks again for all your help.

OSB is lousy in terms of standing up to moisture. If you're going to use it, seal it WELL, including ALL cut edges. I'd suggest priming it first with an oil based primer (purchase the "low odor" type to save yourself from going loopy over the odor of regular oil based primer), then follow it with a good exterior paint. Prime and paint ALL edges that you've cut.

Thanks Gail...I think I've decided against the OSB.
Going to go with the original Exterior grade Plywood and seal edges / prime and paint.
