I have 2 cinnamon queens that were left over from a commercial egg farm. One of the girls has very pale comb and wattles, the other girl was bright red, and now is becoming lighter. Also the one with the very pale comb has watery poo. Any suggestions?

They seem to be very stressed with t h e change. Give them an Electrolyte solution. Dip their beaks in it to get them started. Mix up eggs and feed them all they want. Make sure they are kept in a quite place. You can also give them some vitamins to help. Check their crops and vents and overall for mites.

I haven't seen mites or lice, but I'm not entirely sure what to look for. Also the chicken with the very pale comb has not laid, and the other girl was laying, but it has been 48 hours since her last egg.

I did feed them some scrambled egg this morning, and have been adding durvet vitamins and electrolytes to the water. I also got them some grit with probiotics.

Have you checked them to make sure that they don't have any lice, mites, worms or coccidiosis? Stress can defiantly cause a lot of issues, but not a pale comb.

I dusted them yesterday, the one with the pale comb definitely looks better. I didn't see any worms in the droppings, but I will also work them. What would you recommend as far as a good wormer?
