Oh also I have seen Corid perk my flock up with the only sign of illness being depression/lethargy. Then within two days they are all running around (5 day course of Corid). These were teenage chickens I treated.

Do your rooster a favor and dust him with an insecticide. If he is infested with mites or lice they will kill him eventually.
