Pale Comb

It’s a mix of some kind. Definitely a hen. The comb still doesn’t look concerning to me it doesn’t look very pale and it could be because the bird is younger. Or simply isn’t laying at the moment. They can also go pale during laying but should pink right up right after they lay the egg.
You can either keep it and look for another rooster. Or return it and get your money back. Whatever you do don’t get another bird from the same place.
Whatever you do, do keep it quarantined until you are certain it’s safe. Especially since they did so badly with breed and sexing info.

Post those pictures in the "what breed and gender is this?" forum and see what replies u get. The bird has some red leakage in the wings, which is usually the sign of a cockerel. Also the saddle feathers look a bit suspicious to me. If the bird really is 5-6 months old, then i agree yes a pullet. If the bird is around 4 months old, could be a late-blooming boy. After u post pics in "breed and gender" forum, u should get a lot of replies. There are experts in that forum that specialize in gender i.d. Im not arguing with the "hen" opinion, just not sure.

Thank you!

Welp, turns out the little guy had an impacted crop—fed him oily bread for 3 days along with a little crop massage. The day he woke up with an empty, flat crop his comb began to brighten and his wattles have started to grow. I think it is probably a rooster (albeit younger than I thought), but at least it is definitely healthier!
