Pallet tractor

Hi! Totally new here! Been wanting chickens, since I was a kid, and that's awhile ago! Now I have an acre, and I'm in a chicken ok area! I'm really wanting to keep everything as cheap as possible, so looking at making a pallet tractor. I like the idea of the being able to move the girls all over the yard. But can't let them free roam, so tractor seems the logical way to keep them safe!
Mom of 4 young kids 10-2, we homeschool, and live in NE Florida.
We also have 3 outside cats, and a friendly pit that invites herself into our yard all the time, she's the neighbors.
