I've read with humidity misters/sprinklers could make it worse.

Yeah sprinklers and what not make the humidity way worse. During the summer I have my quail ice bottles almost every day and just that would raise the humidity in thier cages by 20% and by the time I went and grabbed the bottles they would have sweat 50% of the water out of the bottles it’s crazy

Drastic changing in temps can definitely cause issues...
