Panda, Zane's Daughter, Lays An Egg! Well, I'm 95% Sure It's Hers...

I'm glad to have another egg color in my flock. And I love Miss Panda, mainly because she's Zane's only daughter (or son, for that matter)

Well, after missing her lay yesterday but finding a green egg first thing in the morning, today, I actually saw her lay that egg. Yep, I was right, it's Panda laying that green egg. Now, if my other tinted layers would hurry up and get on with it, I'd have a pretty bowl of eggs to take pics of.
Funny thing is, while she was laying, my banty Cochin, Shadow, got into the nest and lay next to her, making this odd crooning noise the whole time. What was that, moral support? Shadow is 24 weeks old. Maybe she'll lay me a tiny jelly-bean sized egg soon.

And just think, I could hatch Panda's eggs and they'd be Zane's grandchildren and Zane's neice or nephew at the same time, being Dutch's or Mace's chicks, who are his brothers.
