In my flock, I have two true Ameraucanas from Cree lines, then I have my Easter Egger, June, and Panda, who is the daughter of Zane, my injured BR, and my blue Ameraucana, Charlotte. June is a full month older than Panda, well, a month and a half older, even. We have found two eggs under the roosts that are light greenish-blue in color and they aren't small eggs, either. I'm thinking that is probably June laying, finally. She's only 33 weeks old, sheesh.
I've seen Panda going in and out of nests for the last several days and today, I found a beautiful little green pullet egg in a nest. I'm pretty sure that's Panda's. I was expecting a green egg from her. The two Ameraucanas should lay more of a blue egg, being from Cree, so I doubt it belongs to one of them. Here is my Panda and the egg.

Yeah for Panda!!

You've got to watch those Charlotte babies, they can sure wrap you around their little claws.

My little Lily is just about the sweetest little girl I could ever hope for. Charlotte did a nice job on her.

So, does egg color follow the mom of the dad?
