Stride ran across the snow. He kept a sturdy, fast, pace. He kept his head forward, and his concentration sharp.

Unfortunately Sunny's body was made for fast short sprints not long,paced runs like Stride and the wolves he sprinted off as fast he could diving up into a tree he climbed it.

Five of the wolves followed Sunny and barked at him from the trunk of the tree.

Stride continued to run. He continued to run, hoping the wolves would tire. He was much faster then them, so he could slow down if he wanted to, but he wanted to keep up his pace. He ran across a river. When Stride reached the other side, he broke the ice so they couldn't cross.

The wolves slid to a stop at the rivers edge they turned back for Sunny.

The iceberg floated by Sunny. He needed to jump on now, in order to jump to the other side.
