If you are super concerned about the humidity dropping when you open the incubator you can mist a little water in every time - but it’s really not necessary when you don’t have external pips yet. Also, I did that the first batch and I actually had too high humidity and a few sticky ducklings. Second batch, I didn’t mist and everything was fine
Have an external pip now on one. Put a safety hole for another. I think the third one is gone. Never made it thru the membrane and no movement in shell now. Poor thing.

You could carefully move the ‘bator into the bathroom to help up the humidity. For assists, I would carry individual eggs in and run a hot shower; It gave me more time to do whatever I needed.

External pip is great!!
I would leave the third one in for now just in case baby is still alive.

Yes...not in a hurry to call it on the third but not looking good.

Will do! First can you tell me the next steps if there is bruising so I am prepared?
If there is a bruise you need ti make a safety hole in the centre of it ASAP
They will run out of air in the egg
Safety hole doesn’t need to be big
I use a tac and my hole is only as big as the pin of the tac
Then put egg back and leave it for 72 hours

No bruising detected. Poor thing still trapped behind stretched membrane. I can see it trying feebly. Any advice? Day 32 starts in 1 hour and 14 min.
