panting and sneezy ducklin, Help!

Just to clarify, I am not a "MEDICTATE IT!" person. I hate pumping any animal full of meds, I avoid it at all costs. But I have lost animals to pneumonia in the past, it's been my experience that pneumonia strikes hard and fast. The only way to save it if it's pneumonia is early treatment. I do agree that a heat plate will help, but I don't think it's overheating in 78° temps.

Is the duckling doing this all the time? How is the appetite? active? listen to it breathing can you hear any crackling?
no he is only doing this when he is in my hands, both of the ducklings eat well, and it was only breathing hard when he was swimming i cannot hear any types of crackling

I was just reading about another Pekin who was panting and it was mentioned about stress. Although they didn't look stressed in the video.
I wouldn't try and medicate one so young without vet care. Not saying anything is wrong but you may have to decide if you feel he needs to be looked at.

hey! I have 2 ducklings and one of them has been very sneezy today and was panting when I was holding him, his toes were very hot and so was his beak, he was having swim time about 5 minutes ago and was panting after a few minutes. please help! I live in a suburb area and don't know any vets, do you think he maybe too hot? because he was stretching his legs. he was a little sneezy yesterday, if not what medication will be great for him or do I need to find a vet?
thank you! :(
Sounds like an upper respiratory infection you better get him to a vet pronto - sounds like its affecting his breathing - no time to lose
