Panting even when not hot

My flock has mycoplasma. I am currently treating with Tylosin in the water, which I've done before.

But I have one hen, age three, who is panting even when not in a hot environment. I currently have her in a 76 degree house, still panting. I've seen panting in my hens before during a mycoplasma attack but it is just this one now. She did have some small bubbles in her eye a day ago, which disappeared.

Is there something else I can do? Could this be something else?

She is eating well, active, crop feels fine. Laying regularly.

How is she doing?

Did she lay an egg today? What's her poop like?

Is she drinking the water with the Tylosin in it? You can try sweetening the water a little if she's not drinking the medicated water very well to see if it helps, I wonder if she's dehydrated. You can stir in some Karo Syrup to sweeten or use some fruit juice as a substitute for part of the water to make it more palatable.

I looked up water belly and I think that's what's going on, but still don't know what to do about it? I will likely not get a vet appointment for a week or so.

She's drinking the Tylosin water and her stool looks normal..she didn't lay yesterday but tends to lay every other day. Her laying has been normal as well.

The panting increases, it seems, when she sits down. She also seems overweight.

She didn't lay yesterday but would expect an egg today or tomorrow. She usually lays every other day or two. Her stool is completely normal. She is drinking the Tylosin water. I'm doing 1/2 tsp per gallon.

She's overweight, I believe. It's worse when sitting. The panting is constant when sitting but not necessarily constant when standing.

Update...at vet. Not egg bound but has an egg stuck deeper. They are going an antibiotic and anti inflammatory. This is my second hen to have this. :(

She laid today. I'm not convinced that was all it was .
Tylosin dosing is 1tsp per gallon of water, so you may want to up your dose for the remainder of treatment.

Is she still panting even after laying her egg today or still the same?

Can you tell is she's overweight, did the vet weigh her? Could be she has excess fat in the abdomen or surrounding her organs.
Did they think she may have fluid in the abdomen (symptom Ascites)? Sometimes with fluid, respiratory distress can worsen while sitting, I've seen that in one of mine that had Ascites due to a reproductive disorder. Draining the fluid can sometimes give relief for a period of time, it's not a cure but can make them more comfortable.

You mention the Vet found an egg stuck "deeper". What does this mean? If the "egg" in the abdomen?

Have you seen this before with another hen? If so, what was the outcome, did you get diagnostics or a necropsy to find out what was happening?

For some reason this site isn't updating the comments normally.

She laid an egg yesterday. Honestly, I don't think it was even an issue. The vet has been wrong many times. Vet said there wasn't fluid in her belly.

Peep is still panting just as she was. They said to keep her on the antiinflammatory and antibiotic but take her off Tylan.

Advice is welcome.
