Hi yall i'm new to the site, and just started caring for some chickens, and i was wondering if it's normal for them to pant, they don't seem sick to me, just hot maybe, some of them lay around some but are all mostly active and up and about. I'm wondering if maybe the florida weather is causing them to pant, and if there's something i can do to help out more. any help would be appreciated!!!! Thanks!!!!

The panting is normal. You will see it as temps reach 80*/85*. Just make sure they have shade and plenty of fresh water.

Chickens will pant if they are very hot. You need to make sure they have plenty of cool fresh water, shade and if possible a fan to cool them off. If they get too overheated if can be deadly.
