Living amongst the hurricanes i know the importance of preparation. Which it looks like i may wake up to one Sunday. Time to go run the generator which i do about once a month anyway to keep things fresh and working

We are too, DD may be going to Arkansas with her 3 room mates. DH is on the schedule for work tomorrow. He needs to check if they have called a code gray (Hurricane team comes in, until it's over, then people come back to relieve them).
Which means if he leaves at 6am tomorrow morning even if they don't want him there, he maybe stuck and may or may not get paid and I will be home alone. I am totally prepared, the biggest problem if I am here alone is if we get flooding, getting the girls inside. But what must be done, will be done.

This thing is scheduled to hit Grand Isle, LA at 2pm 8/29/2021.
The 16th anniversary of Katrina, Little PTSD kicking in.

I'm sure you'll be fine. I'm guessing this isn't your first rodeo. Maybe 1000th lol but landing same day as Katrina up the same track potentially is kinda eerie

At a 3 I unstrap the boats
