Parakeet

Does anyone know why my parakeet isn’t eating. I barely got him yesterday around 2 and I doubt it’s eating, although I do think it does drink , I don’t think it’s eating , around 2 it’ll be the 24h it hasn’t eaten , and I’m worried.

How old is he? What are you offering him? Could you post a pic of his cage setup?

If everything is new then it isn't unusual for a bird to take a few days to find the food and feel safe eating in a new environment. Can you add a stick of millet or a seed bell near the highest perch so he can see some easily accessible food options?

It's common for budgies to not eat when they first arrive in their new homes. Just give him some time to relax and realize that he's safe.

Looks around months honestly, he’s small . I’m giving him this seed and pellet medley
