I had a hen that got caught in my tack room door when someone wasn't paying attention...her legs were squished. I found her the next morning and brought her inside. She seemed totally paralyzed but recovered in about a week and a half. She gets around great, although with a slight limp, but even can run some and is very feisty....so do not give up hope too soon.

I never thought she would even be able to stand up.

Thank you for all your words of encouragement. She's doing good, and I have no plans to cull her. We've named her Twitch, and she actually does really good in the house with all the dogs! I'm not giving up any hope on her, and she will continue on.

Lol, it is very fitting!!! She seem's ok today. A little sore, but will pull through I believe... Anyone know how to make a mini chicken diaper????
