Parelli Strikes Again!

I saw that very same video of the horse that was blind in one eye. Linda wound up shanking the hell out of the poor thing because he wasn't holding his head at the angle she wanted him to hold it, but he was trying to SEE HER so he could do what she wanted him to do! I was very mad after watching that video.

I've also seen minis being treated like dogs, and it never goes well. Just because they're small doesn't mean they're not a horse!

As I stated previously, I am a big John & Josh Lyons fan as well as Clinton Anderson. When I rescue minis, I train them exactly like I do a big horse...size is irrelevant. They are still horses. And last year I rescued a little mare (not a mini, but small due to a lifetime of not having enough to eat - not quite 12 hands) that had punctured her left eye w/ a mesquite thorn, I was told, and trained her with a clicker...excellent result. The biggest key to training a horse, no matter what venue you choose to use, is that you have to be smarter than the horse!

If Parelli (I have not seen the video) is not smart enough to know that some compensation and allowances must be employed because of a physical disability (limited vision) then that ought to tell just EVERYBODY something...
