Who knows if this will catch on at all, but I wanted to create a thread for parents. I am a new mom myself, and I think it would be nice to have a place to talk to others (particularly others who also have livestock to care for in addition to their children) who are parents about the various challenges and happy moments that come along with parenting. It would be nice to have a place to go for advice.

Feel free to use this thread as such! This is for parents of all ages of course, and you are welcome to share random stories and photos if you're comfortable with that.

So who here is a parent?
What are your best pieces advice for new parents?
What are some tips and tricks you might have for balancing care of the child/children, your livestock/pets, and household chores. Those are some of my main challenges right now!

Feel free to post anything related to parenthood here. :)

What perfect timing! We are expecting our rainbow baby boy in January, he'll be my first. 😁 I am about 23 weeks.
Unfortunately we don't have any livestock at the moment - I had chickens in Ohio, but moved to Wyoming and got married, so it's not yet in the cards for us since we're just in the suburbs. We do have a massive, unmanageable puppy though. 😂

Edit: And I see that you're in Ohio, how neat!
