I witnessed this while making dinner tonight. Her clipped wings molted and she's been having the run of the place

OMG how cool is that! I just totally LOL!

I have ALWAYS wanted a parrot but decided that I would wait until my kids were grown so I would have the proper time for one. I want a blue and gold macaw.
I had a sun conure for a looong time, he was the coolest creature.

We have a Scarlett, Catalina, Blue N Gold, and Greenwing Macaws and then we have a Mollucan cockatoo and then we have 3 parakeets. LOL They are all spoiled too.....

They are hilarious though. They all talk...except the parakeets. We had to build them their own house LOL They live in their own building outside as we couldn't deal with the noise inside.

The cockatoo says Momaaaaaaa
The Catalina says Get out! The house is on Fire

So sometimes you get to hear that in sequence and it is "Momaaa, Get out! The house is on fire!! They are too funny!

You know you are parrot owned if.....

you cook healthier foods for the parrots than the human kids...

and if you think you have to add "human" before kids so folks will know who you mean....

Land of Vos has great recipes!!!

And the chickens love the leftovers that the parrots don't finish....

Love this board, thanks sis!

All your Grey needs is a cape and we'd call him a bat! This is a great picture!!!! I have 2 Goffin Cockatoos, 1 Rose Breasted Cockatoo, a Yellow cockatiel and 20 finches. Did I mention I am a bird person?

Someone I know from the local bird show reported that they brought home an African Gray they rescued from a bad home. The first night they covered the cage with a sheet and from under the cover they heard, "That Sucks". They laughed and laughed. I wonder what else he says.

Is there any danger of my parrots catching any disease from my chickens? I wash my hands with sanitizer between touching each group but I worry something the chickens carry might harm my Cockatoos. Does anyone know???????
