None of these birds were mine, but I thought it'd be cute to share. So let's have a thread about opera-singing parrots.

Traditionally, I think amazons and cockatoos are the parrots that most often sing opera. I've often wondered why that was. I love to listen to birds singing opera or other songs.

My grey prefers talking, imitating bird calls, whistles, beeps and clicks. He doesn't like singing. He gets annoyed.

one of my fave birds to hear sing is groucho the yellow nape...lots of youtube vids of him...hes amazing even for an amazon which is a feet in itself!
