Hi and welcome to BYC! I love the variety of feather colors in your "barnyard mix" (Easter Eggers?) photos. There are many knowledgeable and helpful members here; glad you are now a member too. What breeds do you intend to focus on, as far as breeding to the SOP? Have fun on your chicken journey!

Thank you for the warm welcome! Yes, they are Easter Egger and Olive Egger mixes--the true backyard mutt, but cute, all the same!

I'd love to focus on LF Naked Necks first. I know it takes a long time to learn all the ins and outs of a singular breed, despite my desire to learn about them all, simultaneously. I will raise other breeds as well, but won't be as intensive with those.
