Partridge Plymouth Rocks

Anyone have this color breed? I aquired one hen and she is a BEAUTY! Lays daily and large ones too! I'm thinking of picking up a few chicks but they are so hard to locate them.

I got a Partridge Rock from MPC in July. She is lovely and getting prettier every day. The partridge markings are really pretty, and in the sun, the black feathers shimmer with green highlights. I ordered her on a whim (robust, winter hardy) with 7 other chicks.

This is the best picture I have of her at about 13 weeks (I think -- it was when I was concerned about her gender -- she has developed into a lovely pullet). The girls were investigating my cleaning bucket with great interest.

I have too many and they are wonderful layers in the heat.....I have POLs and an extra roo or I could send eggs.....I'm not going north I am delivering Delawares to Turlock on the 2nd....
