The Euro PR are lighter in color than our American PRs. There would not place in a show here. Walkswithdogs you might check to be sure that the Standard on the site is the Up to Date one. Otherwise you are following the wrong breeding form. I do believe they have changed it from the 1915 book. You will probably have to buy the new one from the club. As I am not a member yet I do not know.
Like you I am also going to be breeding them here to standard when we finish the barn this spring. They were my choise do to them being a heritadge breed and there color since I will be free ranging them some in our woods.
