He's growing up. He's got red and black feathers on top of his head in splotches. A section of black and section of red. Is that splash or plain partridge?

How do his feet look? I know nothing about silkies.

Barring is more visible on the wings. Is this normal for a partridge?

Very nice looking partridge

Still hard to sex..But the wing feathers are normal and nice..

I found this odd feather today. Half is silky downy fluff, the other side is dark with barring. Thought it was odd and had to share:
