Oh, Pennie, I am so sorry to hear about your husband!! You must be devastated!! I don't know you well but I wish I could give you a hug and be there to comfort you. I am praying for you and I hope you will come here to us whenever you need support - I am not on BYC all the time but I will be watching this thread.

You'll know I rarely post, but I checked in this morning to see if everyone knew about the passing of Pennie's husband.....

Pennie~~we're all here for you

and I know Jessy will keep her eye on the thread

Lisser---if you can make it to Morganton saturday I've got a Lavender cockerel for you. Also, I know some Partridge breeders do use a black roo with leakage to try and get the black chested boys.....I just prefer to use the black chested boys to carry on the line; I like my Partridges to breed true. I'll have a couple of the black chested Partridge boys at Morganton for sale too.

My deepest condolences Pennie. I don't know you and am not on byc that often, but you will be in my prayers. Your words are very true. I looked at your site and , like many of us on here, we count on the support of our husbands to do all the things we do. Without that support we would not be able to have our beautiful little silkies, much less the countless things in our lives that are too numerous to mention. Many times we forget that in the busyness of our daily lives. Your thoughtfulness at a time like this ,to remind us all of how short life can be, says a lot.
