Partridge Silkies - Nothing else

What is the difference between a blue partridge and regular partridge? I can't tell which one Henley is.

In a blue partridge, all black in hte plumage is diluted to blue

These little guys are blue partridge .



When you part the fluff, the down is a soft powder blue.

The undercolour does NOT determine whehter the bird is blue partridge or not. It is the black on surface feathers that are or are not diluted from black to blue that makes the determination.

Henley has no black so far, just blue/ gray.

Hi- I have this black pullet. She has partridge from her mother side, and her father's side. She has a blue partridge sister and brother. If I breed her to a blue partridge, will I get a lot of blues with gold leakage, or will I get mainly partridge? Here is her pic. She looks like she has brown highlights in the pic, but she is a solid, inky black.
