Partridge Silkies - Nothing else

This little one is 9 weeks here and I could tell that she was a she.

Aww your kiddos are always so cute. I wish I could get a more accurate picture of Henleys coloring. In person she has a lot of gray, or blue, and the oranges and reds are more muted. She has a very round crest, and sits all the time. Could be a very petite lazy boy, but I think she's a girl. :)

I still think Henley is a girl.

Fancychooklady, gorgeous pictures as always!

Here's a couple of shots of mine:

My dark girl

The little golden girl

The silver pair

I am getting excited about these two. I think I have a male and a female here, and the male is clear so far (on the right)! By this time the other boys were already showing red on the shoulders - so I may have my first silver partridge male that I can use on my females (knock on wood). These are full siblings so I am not too sure about breeding them together, but I have two unrelated females and their mother. I think I have read that you can for one generation, but will have to study this for more information. I think they are going through a bit of a molt right now so they aren't looking their best, but they are still cute.

A really WIDE partridge booty and a sparrow stealing some chicken feed

SilkiesnFrizzle I sell eggs, but right now all my colors are together for the winter so everyone can go into the barn. I will separate colors in the Spring when it warms up again.
