This little guy is such a cutey, I call him " beaker " cause he looks like a muppet. When he walks his crest kind of flops around.

When he gets rid of his pinfeathers he is going to have a HUGE hat! Beautiful color on your birds.. so rich and vivid.

Yes we could! Ah well... I will just have to enjoy your beautiful photos and, when we get some nice days take a few or my own. I did get two kids out of the Buff x Partridge cross that have some nice glowing color like yours do.. so there is hope for me.

I had been back and forth on male or female, but she weighs nothing, calm as can be, very squeeky little voice and looks more blue in person. Also she hides under everyone else when something slightly scary happens, which for silkies is everything.

Probably too early to be sure, but I'm not seeing any comb action. Are there any wattles hiding under that beard? This little guy is about the same age. Clearly a roo!
