If you read this entire thread you will see partridges of all different shades.
Thank you! Now I know what to call her :)

Hey everyone, Im Sooo glad I found a post all about partridge silkies! I have an adorable lil girl that i've been dying to learn more about. She's my first and only partridge so far and im soo curious what color she is. She's finally fluffing out and getting her crest but its not dark like I tend to see in partridge. Her whole body is a combination of greyish with browns and im so stumpted what color she'd be considered. She's my mystery color and also one of my favorite. I'll get recent pics of her soon :)

Maybe a Calico?

Never mind - someone ID'd it as a Silver Partridge - so-o-o many Partridge varieties!!!

My Silkies are now almost 7 weeks old (will be on 7 weeks this coming Monday).
Would this one be considered a blue partridge? It's overcast today, so it's hard to see the red among the fluff, but it's there.

I love watching them change as they grow up… each week they look a bit different

So cute :) I have a silver partridge about this age that I am hoping her crest will darken. As the crest is coming in, it looks like the base of the feather is darker so hopefully it'll darken. And then I was given a really dark blue partridge yesterday with just a little gold, and im hoping it gets browner with age, and keeps the dark tail/crest. These are my first partridge babies so im still learning, and excited to see what I get :)

One chick out of a hatch from Porcelain male x Partridge female looks Partridge. Pretty sure this is a female chick. It has partridge type feathering coming in over the wings.

Gorgeous babies Mumsy and FeatherSprings! I have to add mine to the list.

Here are some pictures I took today of my two 11 week old chicks. They are much darker than they appear in the photos. I am really loving how they look and all the other partridge varieties that everyone has been posting pictures of. They are all SO adorable!
