Partridge Silkies - Nothing else

We adored our Partridge boy (which was supposed to be a "pullet") but when he started to crow loudly 12x in a row sometimes and started mounting his sister way too much, we had to re-home him. He was such a personality plus but we aren't zoned for roos. One thing nice about re-homing Silkie boys is they are seldom used as "dinner" but as pets!
has no one ever tried those 'no crow' collars??

I won't use velcro around Silkie fur. Velcro is murder on their soft fluff as I found out from chicken diaper velcro and had to make my own diapers without velcro. The No Crow collars don't totally stop the crowing but muffle it somewhat. But everyone needs to decide for themselves what works best for their breeds.

I'm not sure the age and sex of this little one. A nice lady gave him/her to me because she raises silkies and was sure he is a cockerel but I read so many stories on here about a silkie being mis-sexed....I know I probably need to wait until a crow or squatting but curious about what you all think about the following:
Age?
Likely sex?
Coloring?
What varieties of chicks could he produce with a black silkie hen, another partridge, or white with cream crests? If he is a roo and not too loud, I'll probably keep him. He's sooo sweet.

Partridge. I'd say about 8 weeks old. Looks like a cockerel. To much comb and little reddish wattles coming in.

The lady I got my blue wheaten ameraucana from tried one. It did not work. Only lessened the sound a tiny bit and would start choking the boy. He can crow his head off at 1 am here and no one cares (except for the wheaten rooster in the other pen who usually starts the crowing).

I may have hit the silkie lottery lol. I bought some silkie hatching eggs at an auction recently. There was no mention of color, quality, or anything other than Silkie Eggs. I won the bid at $8.50 for the dozen and happily set them in my incubator. I figured if I got 1 halfway decent silkie I made a good deal. Well imagine my surprise when these babies popped out. I got 6 with perfect toes and cute beyond belief. I was told they are partridge color by a chicken friend. 3 have racing stripes and 3 are dark with lighter head..
Did I hit the lottery? Are these partridge

Congratulations!
Looks like my Partridge day-old chicks when I first got them. This has got to be my favourite Silkie out of all the colors. The earlobes seem bluer, the personality is mellower (except for the boys who are outgoing and curious) and our girl is very dainty compared to the Black Silkie hen we have. We can always spot the Black hen foraging but it's a challenge finding the Partridge hen in the tall grasses until she pops up her head high when we call her!

any idea what this partridge will look like as an adult? i got 2 of these recently, one i hatched another a person i mailed them to hatched. their dad is paint.

this is a better pic of the other one

Our partridge roo is looking sooo cute so far, but alas we're hatching a batch of babies the roo is a beautiful blueish color over most of his body and one of the gals was mostly blue with flowing golden locks. Hens we're mostly bluish and solid black, so well see
