That is very strange... Hmmmmm. I hope the faker is faking, but you're right... In this weather wouldn't you have "spells" if you were put outside with some dumb - chickens?

Oh yes, that will be what I tell my husband "We have to keep them inside at least a month honey, for health reasons" I keep telling him chickens this cute need to be house pets.
Here is a fresh picture from a couple minutes ago. I was able to get all 4 of them in one shot.
Okay everyone.... I have had a massively busy day with this FB thing I started and am totally exhausted. I have got to walk away from the computer for a while.... Someone hold down the fort please?

Well I just came in from taking her out to the coop and other than Jack letting her no this is what I do to a female that comes in my pen so far so good.
My little micro partri that is about 4 months old was standing around all puffed up so I brought her in and have her in the sick ward. She was fine this afternooon. It is amazing how one minute they seem fine and then a few hours later something isn't right with them. Giving her some meds and stuff and hopefully she will be ok. Dont no if it's the heat or what??? Seems to be a guessing game when something goes wrong.
It's this heat Jen, I need to do a rain dance, but I am afraid the neighbors will have hauled off! I am afraid to put my blue boy that head the heat stroke back outside, shoot he pants in the air conditioned house.
I hope everything is alright with her. I lost 1 of my little whites to what I think was the heat the other day. It was fine at 8 am. and dead by noon. No apparant reason. Oh crap.. It took me about 10 minutes to type this.... I'm typed out for the day.. Type to everyone in the morn... Thanks again everyone.
So sorry you guys are having such a hard time with the heat, I dont know what I would do I guess bring them all in to the house. Its humid here for So Cal but only 80 degrees and mine had their beeks open like they were dying of a heat stroke. I sprayed them down a couple of times today but I know this is nothing compared to what you guys are giung through. I hope it cools soon so no more chicks are lost!!!
Penne Cocci is in the soil as is transferred from bird to bird by soil and feces. You can safely treat everyone with Corid and start all new birds in it as well. It will not hurt them whatsoever.
I lost almost my entire flick of standards the other day in the heat between 2-4 pm. By midnight I only had 4 birds alive 14 died. I am so heartbroken there are no words for it. I will tell you all about it in a few days when I can do do without crying hysterically.
