My blue Slikie just went broody on me - FINALLY! - and the eggs she is sitting on are fertilized by my Partridge Rooster. F1 won't show partridge unless the girls are hiding partridge - but F2 will! I also gave her a Sumatra and a Partridge Wyandotte egg.. 21 days...

I just realized that many of us on this partridge thread are from California!!! Kind of cool!

If any of you are ever in -or passing through- the Sacramento area, let me know. I'd love to meet up!
Also, later this month I will be on a quest for a partridge cockerel/rooster! I will also be interested in buying hatching partridge eggs from SOP partridge parents. If you sell fertile eggs, send me a PM on the cost of eggs and shipping......Even half a dozen silkie partridge eggs in the bator would be nice.

Also, later this month I will be on a quest for a partridge cockerel/rooster! I will also be interested in buying hatching partridge eggs from SOP partridge parents. If you sell fertile eggs, send me a PM on the cost of eggs and shipping......Even half a dozen silkie partridge eggs in the bator would be nice.

At least you are in Ca!!! lol! Seems like every time I find something I want it is in Michigan or Virginia.. someplace about as far away as it can get lol! I have spent a lot in shipping!

I mostly hatch silver partridge. Every once in awhile I get a partridge because my rooster carried both the silver gene and the gold gene. Sadly he died last month I'm hatching my last eggs from him now. I'm hoping for one more partridge girl.

This was him...I never took a good pic of him. This is from when he was molting. But he made pretty babies.
