I wanted to ask if anyone had a guess on the little 6 week old's color. I have two that are getting very dark in the crest and beard and body is gray and white it seems. I wonder if they are blue or silver partridge, not just regular partridge.

Also, when Henley was little I recall someone saying that pencilling on the primaries can indicate female. I have one or 2 of the 5 partridge that have pencilling on the primaries, but the others do not. Is that an accurate way to sex partridge chicks?

I would say 7 will be silver partridge. That's what my silver partridge babies always look like at that age.

This one looks like a blue partridge to me. I have an adult blue partridge rooster, but I bought him as an adult, so I don't know what he looked like as a teenager.

Could be , I did get 2 x blue partridge from partridge over blue.
