So sorry to hear that. It's always heartbreaking to lose one of your birds. They are like family. Right up there with dogs.

That's great!!!! Where are you getting them from? I'd be so excited I wouldn't be able wait til 4....

I have a really tiny Partridge chick with a leg problem. It really looks liek the hip might be dislocated because the leg rotates. Any ideas on how to help the leg. I tried the band aid thing but it really wasn't helping this problem.

Oh boy... To be quite honest, I don't have a clue but maybe some of our other wonderful people may be able to help... Does it look like it's in pain? I know I would be if I were that poor little thing. I would probably cull, but that's just me.

I'm so sorry.

It is so bright eyed and chipper though right now. Very alert. It doesn't appear to be in pain, just lonely because I have it by itself so it doesn't get trampled. I am sure if I can figure out a way to keep the hip stable, it should be more comfortable for it. It is really hard to tell for sure but I do believe it is the hip and not the knee. At first the knee was really stiff but I have been working it and it does bend more easily now.
