Sooo, you know I decided to keep the newbies inside last night, but at 5:30 a.m. when Oliver started to crow I thought to myself "hmm, I guess I didn't think these arrangement through completely" ha ha! What a lovely crow he has!
Thank you everyone!!!! There are no Silkie people around here and I think that they are nice. I just want to share with other partridge Silkie lovers. Anybody want to critique, I would love to hear it. Good, bad or whatever.

It catches me off guard everytime one stays the night inside. Why do I forget such things. When I wash a bunch for show in the late fall, I let them stay in overnight because they are not completely dry....talk about a wake up call!

Don't know about the top 1. It very well could be a girl. It going to change color another 100 times before it reaches adulthood. I also see some partridge on it's wings.
Second one - I'm saying boy because of how bright it is.
Third one - I'm still saying boy, but I could very well be wrong. The more I look at it, it could be a girl..
I thought I had it down pat with telling sexes this year - but I was wrong 7 times!!!! I had never been wrong before so this year I am making up for lost time.
I really like 1 & 3.
Second is a boy, not because of brightness, but because of patterning.

Do you remember the adult silkie cross in the grey pen? The baby should grow up to look like that, but probably more partridge colouring. Looks like Oliver is still damp from his bath. Enjoy!

Well I will critique them for you and say they are all horrible and you need to send them all to me so you won't have to look at them
anymore in disgust.
JK !! They are so cute!!!!! I don't see anything wrong with them!!
