Maybe a small pile of straw?? It would surely be less painful, but the color may fade quickly too?

I have two 8 1/2 week old parti pullets that I would appreciate a serious critic on. Both chicks have had their cheeks feather trimmed because of eye irritattion As someone else said, please be brutal!

This is Princess Di - she's in need of a beak trim. She has decent toe separation.

This is Tiara - I think she is a blue parti. True or false?
