But, seriously you have some of the Absolutely nicely marked deep rich colored partridges I have seen in a love time!!!!! Please do share more pic's anytime!!!! I may have to wipe up the drool of my keyboard when I done glaring at the pic's but, it's worth it!!!

My PQ black silkies hatched out a couple chipmunk striped chicks. I forgot to mark them & they turned black with the rest at 8 weeks. Will these possibly get partridge markings when they mature or are they just a carrier of partridge gene ????? I know because they are hatchery orign, anything is possible but confused as to partridge genetics.

jut one many verations u can get when breeding partrdge

The variations in color have a whole lot to do with what color boy you are using in your different Partridge pens as well as the color of the female you are using. My bright boys give me bright Partridge, my soft ones give me soft and so on. I have never had variations like this from a single breeding pen with the same male and the same hens.
