That would be awesome. A friend and I are thinking about it. I would love to get away for a little while, talk Silkies and see the ocean.

Thanks April! They are still in shock I think. Very little eating and drinking and a whole lotta looking around and talking to each other lol.

Lovely girls Beth! They look very happy!

On a Northeast Congress note, their Grandmother went reserve of breed there the other year for Brody. So they should feel right at home, since that show is in their blood! lol

We will be there this year if all works out right!

The second new girl is about perfect in color.... She is awesome. The rest of your flock is great, but that little girl is to die for.

Thanks. I'm a sucker for blue partridge as well as partridge and am really happy with all my new birds. But you're right, that little girl is a real head turner. I'll get better pics once everyone is out of quarantine.
Beauties!!

WWWeeeellllll!!!! Let's let's just say that if they had feathers the morning of the judging, they might have looked like silkies and not those fake rubber chickens! lol

I started to see random feathers 2 days before leaving & was praying that the wind would leave some intact, but it was not to be.

So not so well, but they held it together for the Silkie Nationals & that was the show we were conditioning for, so not a problem. Silkies this time of year is a toss up, that is why only 2 of the 3 entered went. We were really geared to the Call ducks since Columbus was the Call Duck Club National, and the latch hatches held their own in outstanding company, so we were very pleased.

Indy was the big one for us & the s2 ilkie girls, and they took a BV & RV so that was the bomb!
