I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. It's been a pretty tough year for a lot of us but it's Christmas and that means family, friends and lots of food and love going around. I hope we can ring in the New Year and it brings nothing but good things to all of you.
I want to thank you for keeping this thread going. It's awesome that there are that many partridge Silkie lovers out there. It's also been great that this thread has stayed friendly and light hearted and all of the questions that people have get answered. At least all that I know of.
I would like to see a lot more of the partridges at the shows. They are beautiful and I don't understand why people that have them don't show them off when they will show other varieties that they own. Oh well, maybe we can work on that. LOL.
I know there are more breeders up here in my area that wouldn't show because of one individual that was going, but that problem seems to have resolved itself so now maybe the others will come back to the few local shows that we have. By local, I'm talking within a 4 hour drive from me. I certainly hope so.
So anyway, Merry Christmas everyone and a very happy and prosperous new year. I wish you all the very, very best.
