So about 5pm I found out WhiteBand(name) Black Australorp sleeping in the corner. It took me nearly shaking her a tapping on her to get her to wake up. I even moved her and she didn't put up a fight. I honestly thought she was dead for a moment.

Since then, I did give a calcium d+ vitamin. And separated her to see how she faired. I gave her a little bit, maybe an hour, then I gave her a little bit of Nutridrench, and tried to give her wet mash with egg- nada, she refused to eat.

Her crop is empty. I did not feel any egg, but I also haven't done a vent check. (Have to find gloves and lube)

She is currently inside and I've been at least getting her to drink a smidge when I wake her up and stick her beak in water.

No mites/fleas/lice on her. Everyone else in flock is rambunctious and running around willynilly.

I suspect egg bound ?

Any other suggestions?

Also pic of poop when I sat her on porch. i did trim her tail feathers as they were messy. Not sure how long she's been like that as I've been at work until 430, then checked on them and found her. *Everyone seemed fine and moving yesterday when I sat with them multiple times. Not sure when she last laid an egg as most of our Australorps haven't been laying

Thanks

Wanted to add, they eat a 20% feed from mill- basically a chick starter. Free oyster shell. Several waters and feeders and nests.

From the poop it looks like she hasn't been eating. Could you get some sugar water or electrolytes into her? You may have do use a dropper an put a few drops in her beak at a time.

If you don't feel an egg in her then is there any swelling in her abdomen? Either a firm swelling center to front or watery center to backside?

How does her keel bone feel?

Water had/has electrolytes in it- she's been slowly drinking -ish as well as I've done dropper/syringe on side of beak. She's had two more poos since bringing her in. Same as pics.

Nothing feels swollen or out of place.

Son says she was in the nest box this morning. Not sure if maybe she got overheated, however high today was 76F ? She's inside and barely moving even with me dunking her beak often in water. Although she did stand, I startled her trying to get her to drink before bedtime. Hopefully she just needs rest and will be her sassy self in the morning.

Sugar water (1/2 tsp per 8 ounce cup) can perk her up as the NutriDrench does. You can syringe it down the back right side of her throat into the esophagus. If she has not eaten or drunk today, she may need some more fluids. 15 ml per kg or every 2.2 lbs given 3 times a day is the normal fluid requirement. Occasionally a young pullet can experience a reproductive problem or infection. Some take to a nest box to hide when sick. Hopefully, she will perk up, or lay an egg. How old is she exactly?

Year n half old. Feb'23.

She's the only one showing signs. As I'm already at work I showed the kids (15&17) how to care for her last night when we gave more water(electrolyte). She was alive at least when we left, and got her to drink a smidge.

Here is a good article with a picture of where to give oral fluids and medicine to a chicken:

I usually mixed some watery feed and soft cooked egg up to the beak often to temp one to eat. After 24 hours, the calcium can be repeated if she has not laid an egg or improved. Tube feeding is another option for giving fluids and thinned food. Amazon sells simple tube feeding sets:
