My one chick in the brooder (it hatched several days before others) has poop stuck to its feathers. As far as I can tell, it is not covering or blocking the vent, but it is stuck to the feathers below the vent.
I can't get it off...
Is this a cause of concern? Should I try to remove it from the feathers? My brooder is in my classroom at school, so I don't have a hair dryer or anything to dry it back off if I wet it's back feathers. Is there another way to deal with this?

Well, if it's not blocking the vent or looking problematic, it might just sorta rub off on it's own. Maybe a picture would help.

Ok...so it has not rubbed off on its own and I think it's starting to cause more buildup that is getting it closer to the vent. This chick gets very stressed out when I pick it up, but I sort of got a picture. You can't see the vent in the picture, but the mound of dried poop is very close to it! :/
