Pasty bottom

Button quails 4to 5 days old some have developed blocked anus (pasty bottom) can someone advise on cure (what to do ?) Heat lamp is at 40 degrees in middle of brooder water readily available.

We give our chicken babies oatmeal flakes from walmart to help with pasty butt. Maybe it would work for quail too?

I love that he broods it with his beard as he works and it get cold.
