Pasty butt help please

What is your heat source?
Can you post pictures of your brooder?

Does the heat source make a difference in pasty bum? Wondering if this is the problem. Because we can't shake the pasty bum.

I read in a few places that if you add 1 Tbsp organic apple cider vinegar per gallon in their drinking water, it helps with gut health and pasty butt. We had a pasty butt encounter with about half of ours a few days after we got them. After we cleaned them we started adding the apple cider vinegar to their water and never had another incident with any of the chicks. Might help yours too?

I personally am always leery of any practice that replaces pure, fresh water with only water that has an additive in it unless pure water is also offered as well.
