pasty butt or ???

I have some 4 day old Barred Hollands. Some of them have a little poo stuck to their rears. Do I need to clean this or will they clean themselves. It's really not a lot of poo just a little and it doesn't seem to be affecting them pooing more. This is my first attempt to raise chicks and I'm just not sure what to consider normal.

They usually won't clean it themselves at that age and you'll want to do as soon as you see it, otherwise it can become a serious problem.
