We have a 4 month old chicken that has a pasty butt appearance but want to clarify it. When it was a chick, we constantly cleaned it's bottom with a warm washcloth or paper towel because it would get clogged up with feces. It never got sick to the point of dying and is perfectly healthy now other than his bottom. We just wanted to hear what your input and theories were on our chickens bottom.
